Boni Gnahoré
is "Drum-Master" and vocal lead of the Ch¦ur Attoungblan. He belongs
to the generation that "lost the words" and whom mission is to find
them back. He was among the first persons to receive the Ki-Yi formation,
since the mid-eighties. Boni Gnahoré played in every important productions
of the Ki-Yi Mbock as a percussionnist and an actor.

In 1987, he
becomes "Drum-Master" of the Ki-Yi Mbock and from 1989, he begins
to receive propositions of creations at an international scale.
He creates the musics of Sunjata l'Épopée Mandingue with Richard
Harmelle for the troup "Amoros et Augustin" of Strasbourg, France.
In 1992, he participates to the creation of the opera Un Touareg
s'est marié à une Pygmée. He writes several titles and is percussions
director with Ray Léma, artistic director of the project.
In 1994, he creates the musics of Nuages de terre with Michel for
the canadian troup "Les Deux Mondes".
Il 1996, he plays the first part in Kaïdara, directed by Lucio Mad
for the parisian troup "Chapeau Rouge". He also participates to
the Ki-Yi Mbock albums Carnet A and Carnet B, from the shows Berceuse
d'éveil and Un TouaregŠ
The same year, Boni Gnahoré creates, the Ch¦ur Attoungblan and presents
Le Passeur, his first play as a director. Les Évadés and more than
ten video-clips wil follow.
Almost fifteen
years of career made of Boni one of the top artists of Ivory-Coast
and of the african music.
